Ok, so I have an apology or two to make…
1. I’ve been very quiet lately… Life has been curly! But I’m back… :)
2. I had NO IDEA this wasn’t posted! This post has been sitting as a draft since May…!
So without further a do… here is the 4 month old post!
I had unexpected company at this wedding… my mum joined me for this wedding and it was such a great day! The original plan was for her to come up with me, and while I worked she would take some relaxation time and read a book in the car… well things changed when she decided to come down and witness the ceremony… then she decided to help me carry things throughout the whole afternoon, THEN was even given a seat at the Reception… SO lovely of my Clients parents to arrange that for us! Thanks Rob & Jen… Totally unexpected, but totally appreciated!
It was the First day of May, and our day started around 9:30am setting off on the 2 hours drive from Adelaide to Clare. It was a lovely drive, getting into Clare safely and with enough time to grab something for lunch before heading over to the Brice Hill Country Club for the preparations. I arrived to find Bek and her girls chilling out in their room. I asked Bek how she was doing, and I got a beaming smile and a “I’m excited” in reply. Now I should explain how we met… it was late Feb early Mar of 2003, I was attending a 6 month training course with a christian non profit organisation, I was in my Lecture Phase, Bek was returned from her Outreach phase… I don’t remember particularly when we met over that week… but she remained on staff after her school was over and that began our friendship. I didn’t meet Damian until a few weeks before the wedding was actually happening, though i’d seen pictures and heard much about him… all in all, I knew i’d have a fun day! So fast forward to the wedding day…
The ceremony went off without a hitch (that i’m aware off), the weather was amazing and of course fun was had by all parties involved!

I saw some familiar faces, many I expected to see, some I didn’t but that just added to the day! Thanks guys for welcoming me with open arms to capture your special day.
Bek & Damo, hope you had amazing time in QLD on your honeymoon!! I believe you’re settling into your new life together in your new place quite well!
