Yay for Thursdays!!

I caught up with my cousin Jannah her Husband Dan and their little man Lucas for some updated family pics. We met at the Himeji Japanese Gardens in the city and let Lucas run wild for a bit… while I chased with Camera ready.

We had fun! Despite the heat… Those who have been around my blog for a while may recognise Lucas as he appeared here in some pictures we did just before his 1st birthday last March.

Say Hello to the Rees Family! Originally from Wollongong NSW, but currently reside in the beautiful Adelaide SA.

I’ve known these guys for just over a year and have been a huge encouragement to me as a person and member of the Marketplace Church here in Adelaide. I was honoured when asked to take some updated family pictures for them, when the day of the session came round it was warm, a bit humid (ick!) and the clouds were grey and a little loomy! We had a few randoms drops but nothing stopped us from getting some great new family memories.

Doyle turns 2 in just a couple of weeks… he has really grown this year!! i love his unhappy lip pout, and even his walk in the opposite direction cos he’s mad… but all in all, he was a great sport despite the fact he decided to wake the family up at 5am that morning… I think he slept well after this shoot! Thanks guys for a great morning!

Back in December, a couple days before christmas I caught up with this family. To me they are the Craig’s… and when we moved to the city in 1992 this family lived across the street from us. The youngest being Simon in the grey shirt… who of course is probably also the tallest and Erin the one in floral dress… I used to babysit these two! how on earth can they be all big a grown up? sigh… They moved to a newer house about 8-10yrs ago but we remained in some form of contact throughout the years, though in more recent years I rarely saw the kids. What comes with grown up kids? well, for this family it’s a husband, girlfriend, and boyfriend… and I should mention a baby in a few more months!

This year brought all the kids back to Adelaide for Christmas, and what better time to grab some updated family Photos! Jayne and I organised the soot for just after David’s 50th Birthday party, and before Christmas… we headed down to Hallett Cove Beach. I was a little anxious about the weather but the clouds were covering ever so nicely and we had the great rocks as props and cliffs as backgrounds… can it get much better??
